Tom’s Hardware Guide published an article by Paul Escallier, in which the AdMoVeo is featured as one of the “30 Inventions From Regular Guys”. We are happy to see that AdMoVeo is getting more attention, although we are listed as “regular guys”

The Grand Cooperative Driving Challenge (gcdc) is set up as a competition for international teams to deliver the most effective cooperative vehicle-infrastructure system in predetermined traffic scenarios. The Automotive Technology team (ATeam) of the TU/e will participate in this challenge and made a first robot demo.
Knol Ontwerp organized a Fast Food / Slow Food lunch for employees of the Fontys using AdMoVeo to serve the Herbs.
A demo of AdMoVeo: an educational robotic platform for learning behavior programming will be shown on DesForm. The 5th International Workshop on Design & Semantics of Form & Movement. October 26 & 27, 2009, Taipei, Taiwan.
AdMoVeo will be on display during the Dutch Design Week (DDW).

In the module Learning Robots in the Master Industrial Design at Eindhoven University of Technology, the students programmed an AdMoVeo robot using Processing language. The Q-learning algorithm was written from scratch.
They used an USB cable because the Xbee was interfering with something.
As can be seen in the video the robot first tries random actions to see if it gets a positive (green light) or negative (red light) reward from the algorithm. After some training, the robot is able to follow the light perfectly.
